Still playing catch-up on the blog...

Reese @ 18 months old!

During Thanksgiving {while jon's parent's were visiting} Reese was acting a little "off."  She wasn't really showing any signs of anything else really going on.  We went day to day and never really noticed her getting worse...yet not better.
We attempted to go to our ward party on Dec. 1st.  It lasted about 25 minutes.  Reese was not herself and inconsolable.  We left & took Reese to the insta-care.  She had another ear infection.  Like clock work.  She got one at 6, 12 & 18 months.  They gave us a Rx & she seemed to feel better with in a few days.
Two weeks later we went to her 18 month well visit.  She still had the ear infection!  Boo.  So her gave her a stronger Rx...again, she seemed to feel better after a few days. {more of the ear infection saga to come...}
At 18 months this girl is changing & learning so much each day!

-She still has a huge love of books & gets mad at me every time I say "the end" when a story is over.  She pushes the book at me & we usually have to read it three or four more times.

-She is starting to recognize letters in the alphabet! She can say lots of their sounds!

-She is starting to want to be independent so badly.

-She loves music.  She loves to sing songs with me.  After I sing a song to her, she usually sings back her own version to me.

-Her vocabulary is growing so fast.  She is talking a lot...but not in sentences at all.  Just saying more single words, as she points to & recognizes things around her.

-She loves to watch the movie Tangled...barely blinks or moves the whole time it is on!

My friend & neighbor went with us & we took family pictures for our Christmas cards.
We went over to jon's campus & took some at our apartment complex too.

I told her to say, "cheese"...this is the face I got. :)

Your family pictures are really cute and Reese is DARLING! So sad to hear about all the ear infection drama, but hoping the tubes solve the problem!

Reese is such a smart girl. I am still in awe that she knows all her letters and their sounds...very impressive!
